JavaGrove targets the following Monthly Uptime Percentage for each plan tier:
| Plan | Monthly uptime objective | Max downtime per month |
|---|---|---|
| Sapling | 99.9% | ~43 minutes |
| Grove | 99.95% | ~22 minutes |
| Canopy | 99.99% | ~4 minutes |
This SLA applies to paid Sapling, Grove, and Canopy plans. It does not apply to accounts on a free trial, or to any feature marked as beta, preview, or early access.
Monthly Uptime Percentage is calculated per Container as:
Only Unavailability Periods of five (5) or more consecutive minutes are counted toward Unavailable Minutes. Brief interruptions shorter than five minutes, and any downtime falling under an exclusion in Section 7, are not counted.
Availability is measured using JavaGrove's own internal monitoring, which is made available to you in your dashboard's uptime report for each Container.
If your Monthly Uptime Percentage for a Container falls below your plan's objective in Section 2, you're eligible for a Service Credit according to the schedule below, based on the actual Monthly Uptime Percentage achieved:
| Monthly uptime achieved | Service credit |
|---|---|
| Below your plan's objective, but at or above 99.0% | 10% of that month's Container fees |
| 95.0% up to 99.0% | 25% of that month's Container fees |
| Below 95.0% | 50% of that month's Container fees |
Service Credits are applied as a credit toward a future invoice and are not redeemable for cash. Credits apply only to the fees paid for the specific Container affected, not your entire account.
To request a Service Credit, email hello@javagrove.net within thirty (30) days of the end of the affected billing month, including your account details, the affected Container, and the dates and times of the Unavailability Periods. We'll confirm eligibility against our monitoring data and apply any credit due within one billing cycle.
Failure to submit a claim within the 30-day window forfeits your right to a Service Credit for that month.
The maximum aggregate Service Credit issued for any single Container in a given billing month will not exceed 50% of the fees paid for that Container for that month, regardless of how many separate Unavailability Periods occurred.
This SLA and the Service Credits above do not apply to unavailability resulting from:
We may update this SLA from time to time. Where a change would reduce the uptime objective or credit schedule available to you, we'll provide advance notice before it applies to your account. The version of this SLA in effect at the start of a billing month governs that month.
